Workshop: US Residency for Entrepreneurs Organized on December 21, 2024
B-1C, also known as Employment-Based Immigration, is an immigration application based on employment relationships. If you are a senior manager of a multinational corporation, you already meet the basic requirements to apply for an EB-1C.
1. Visa L1: A work visa for entrepreneurs in the United States.
2. Visa L2: A work visa for spouses and children accompanying the main applicant to the United States to live, work, and study for a limited period.
3. EB-1C: A permanent residency visa with a 10-year validity for the entire family.
Advantages of EB-1C
- Direct ownership and management of the business.
- Green Card duration is only 1-2 years.
- No financial proof required.
Conditions: Business owners and companies in Vietnam and the United States must meet the requirements of the EB-1C program.

Option 1: Establishing a new branch in the US: Visa L1/L2 for the entire family:
When the newly established US company does not meet the criteria for applying for EB-1C permanent residency:
- Visa L1-A for entrepreneurs
- Visa L2 for spouses and children under 21 (spouses are allowed to work and children to attend school under policies similar to permanent residents, for a maximum of 7 years)
Option 2: Acquiring an eligible business in the US and applying for EB-1C permanent residency for the entire family.
When the US company qualifies to file an EB-1C petition, the EB-1C application will be submitted for the whole family.
Permanent residence card valid for 10 years
This way, two goals are achieved simultaneously:
1. Expanding business operations to the US
2. Obtaining a green card for children and enjoying in-state tuition benefits
